Short Voyage

This summer our traveling has been directed to Hawaii. The goal was the same – to see and to taste. We chose Oahu. The majority of the hotels territories and resorts located in Oahu are in Waikiki. From luxurious ocean-view suites to typical 4-star hotels, we were sure to find a place there that suited our travel budget. Oahu offered a vibrant nightlife and best quality dining options. The Ko Olina resort and marina area, with its seven lagoons, also offered lush condos and hotels after visiting attractions of the island and tasting exotic fruit. We have chosen the north area. There was the only hotel in the North Shore territory. However, the area had plenty of vacation homes, condominiums and backpacker hostels, with options to fit our budget. There were also camping permits on the island. We should simply get one and pick up necessary supplies at affordable rates from the stores in the territory. We needed a lot of different fruit and a friendly company. With no shortage of beautiful weather Oahu was an ideal destination no matter the season. Oahu rentals were vast and plentiful, ranging from private vacation rental homes, condos and villas to bed and breakfasts (always with enough of fruit) and hotel rooms at the different territories of the island. In Oahu, there were definitely accommodations to suit every taste. While staying in Waikiki, we checked out the Food Pantry for a quick breakfast or lunch. We could have rice, scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon and a sausage for breakfast and roasted chicken with rice and all kinds of fruit for lunch. The food wouldn't be an unpleasant attraction as the quality of food was excellent, and the prices were quite affordable. Other places for having lunch included Boots and Kimo's, Germaine's Luau, Hana Sushi, Matsumoto's Shaved Ice and some more. There were various means of transportation that we could make use of to explore the island. We rented a motorcycle to do some exploring on our own. However, sometimes we preferred being guided to the major tourist destinations, simply grab a cab or some form of public transportation.
